Been coming here for many years. Always had a bad reputation. But it's a very nice pub with lots of friendly customers. Staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome.

Came in here for a drinks and was served by Amy she was very friendly and welcoming and offered really nice drinks as I was unsure what to have. Will Definitely be back!

Always have a great experience when I go to watch the football at weekend, with 5 big screens and plenty of seating I don't have to worry about not being able to see the match, accompanied by friendly bar staff.

Popped in this morning for the first time after getting lost on the train. Charged my phone and ordered a pint of Guinness from the bar that tasted fresh as a daisy and got change from a fiver. The Welsh guy working behind the bar (think he was the boss) was very helpful and directed me to London Bridge on the trains. I ended up staying for a burger which was well priced and decent and was on a great offer with a beer. If I lived locally I would be a fixture here.

A good little pub which i always use when in the area.
Table service is available where required. The prices are pretty competitive so well worth using this pub. Its a proper spit n saw dust typical pub with 2 pool tables to be able to use as well. Pub is served here but it is basic stuff.

Local pub, come for the champions league final.
Was very busy but the owner, all his staff an all security was spot on. Security helped with cleaning the glasses as it was busy.
Been a great night, great prices. And felt welcomed to come here

Not really favouritism but they served me a decent pint of Hobgoblin, my favourite beer, which I hope they continue doing it's improved greatly since its last incarnation when it was the Melbourne but as I usually visit around lunchtime when it's quieter I can't say what its like at night. That said it's clean and tidy and the staff friendly

A very good local that caters for all ages and needs, has the ability to keep the old school of being a locals pub alive, good beer and food at very competitive prices.Darts,pool and quizzes. Came into town for shopping and got a bit peckish, so popped in ( being a Tuesday) it was " big burger and drink day", what can I say £5.79 for a fully loaded burger and a pint, better quality than Witherspoons .

We stumbled on this pub.. It had an rumbling electric feel on entry at 8.00PM on a Saturday. Staff were very welcoming. Guests had potential for late night revellry for sure. Glad we stayed for the large-portioned decent meal, and very good value for money. Left at 9.00PM probably a good idea!
