Absolutely tip top, served by fantastic and super friendly ladies, the Jumbo Cod is Huge so it's for the larger appetites for sure. Well worth a visit if you are in the area 👍🏻
I ordered the regular size cod and chips which is £4.95 and a tub of spicy curry sauce. The batter was nice and crispy and a bit greasy underneath, what you sort of expect though. I regularly drive from Birmingham to Burnley for work and every time I always take a detour through Bury to stop at this place for a rag pudding, chips and gravy. The staff are lovely and the food is top quality. Honestly you can't beat it 👍
Friendly Staff, Great Food and Reasonably Priced. I work locally, But sometimes on a day off I'll come from Rochdale when I want a chippy. Mini Fish Chips & Peas is my Usual. and the Ginormous Pea Fritter is so good

I ordered fish chips and jumbo cod. The jumbo cod was like 2 fish . The batter was crisp and tasty and the fish was nicely cooked. Chips were also nice and the portion was a good size. Enjoyable meal and good value.
