Boss little pub, pool table friendly people all around, good prices on drinks

Lived in this town for all my life. Never ventured in here until 2 weeks ago. I should have come years ago, friendly staff, good old style pub, made to feel welcome, good prices. All the best for 2024.I'll be back.
Food was lovely-traditional Sunday lunch, very nice and plenty of it!! Unfortunately the ladies toilets were in need of a good clean, and drier nor hot tap working- that let it down. Would love to come back again if that was sorted
Travelled for a Bad Medicine gig. Nice pub and atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Pay n display parking. Zero alcohol free beers which was disappointing for this designated driver...options were room temp J20 (fetched from chiller but not chilled and tasted odd) or lemonade served from bottles. Nonetheless, great gig!

Nice pub, renovated during lockdown, looks beautiful.
Stopped off at The Oak inn for a few beers before the footie and was made very welcomed, Thank you, we all had a good time. Thanks again for being the perfect host & hostess 🙂 …
