Staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is great! Food and drinks are well priced, cheaper than you'd expect for the area and really enjoyable. The beer garden is absolutely the place to be even when the weather is bad, with plenty of covered space and heat lamps everywhere. It's fantastic! There are probably a dozen pubs closer but this is definitely "my local" now.

One Great Pub - I couldn’t recommend this place enough for an outside birthday event space for 40-50 people, the General Manager was attentive to my wishes and if there was an issue on the day, Matt the manager on shift dealt with it efficiently, all the bar staff were brilliant on the night and the beer/beverages were at a great quality. We were very lucky with the weather, and I had an amazing time so thank you to all the team, if you need a decent, attractive outside space for your event this is the place.

I enjoy a pint in The Village, it feels like a real pub, full of real locals who like myself appreciate a nice, homely environment and friendly face behind the bar. I especially love to see some of the local E17 beers on tap there which sadly don't seem to be permanent. The burgers aren't cheap (then again what is these days), but when you see the size of them you understand why. I had to use a knife and fork to overcome the size of the delicious fried chicken and lovely pretzl bun. I look forward to my next visit!
