the only issue I have is lack of staff manning the tills there's just not enough and to make this worse whilst the customer as to queue there always seems to be a lot of staff close to the till chatting surely they can hop on to a till and help out when its busy

I'd say this sainsburys is like most others you come across, but with some lacking features due to the pandemic impact. The store is starting to show its age and the back-end of the store (fresh meat/ hot food/ deli counter) is looking quite drab and tatty. However the store is very reliable, has quite a large quantities of stock and the checkouts run pretty smoothly too. Always an easy shop, I'd say
