The food here is always brilliant they have plenty of Dairy Free alternatives. The girls are lovely, especially Emily B who is so efficient, friendly and made our evening so lovely. Would definitely recommend to all to go here.

Best roasts around! We went for a Sunday roast and two of us had the veggie roast and two of us had the beef. Can't remember having a better one in the local area across Welwyn and Hertford. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy (unsurprisingly!) everything came out to spec, in good time, warm through and delicious!

Very nice for a pub, would like to return for a proper meal. We went for the 4 plates for £24 which was very good indeed. Nice atmosphere nice little garden. Whilst this is not the cheapest pub lunch it does not disappoint, I will be returning.

Sunday lunch with 2 friends. Lovely meal, all the roasts were excellent, wife & I had the beef, others had the pork and the lamb shank. Mini deserts with coffee to finish. Excellent service again, friendly staff.and food brought up quickly. Very reasonably priced, popular & busy which is a good sign. Good parking. Always enjoy our visits, happy to recommend it.

We called and made a reservation for Sunday Roast. Car Parking: Ample parking Accessibility: Wheelchair friendly and step free. WC’s are located on the same floor as entrance and bar. Outdoor space: Yes Table Service: Yes, order at the bar or use the table QR code. Our small group ordered using the App. Super easy and convenient to use. Everyone took care of their own bill 💸 . Staff: Lots of staff, attentive, polite and smiling. 10 out of 10. Kids: Kid friendly venue with high chairs available. Food: We all ordered off the Sunday Roast menu and we weren’t disappointed. Our booking was for 3pm. Our food arrived in good time as did our drinks. Everyone’s dishes were juicy and flavoursome. Yummy gravy and veggies. Veggies were perfectly cooked as were the meat elements. Topped with a massive Yorkshire pudding. 10 out of 10. We travelled from London by train, disembarking at Ware station to meet our mates. So it’s a short walk from the station. They said, they’ve never had a bad roast there. So we had high expectations. Venue: Clean and tidy. A golfing facility is behind the pub. Coffee: They make a decent flat white. The coffee was well made, milk was at a perfect temperature and the coffee flavour was robust. Very enjoyable. WC’s: Down a set of stairs. They were well decorated, lit, clean, tidy and were NOT smelly. Ample soap in the dispensers. One bit of improvement for mgt: Suggest staff remove their service aprons before using the WC’s. Look forward to visiting again soon.

The air conditioning made this a pleasant place to be on a very hot weekend. Good Antipasti. Good chilli prawn, bacon and advocado salad - fresh and well dressed. Well cooked lovely steak. Well kept cask ale (McMullens IPA) and a decent Chilian Sauvignon. Well staffed. Nicely unhurried. Two courses and two drinks for two was £65. Recommended.

We as a family of 10 had a large table to the far side of the restaurant where it was quieter. The service was good and for the most part so was the food ( no food returned) . It was a really enjoyable afternoon, we stayed 4 hours! Food was not rushed and neither were we. We all had 3 courses along with drinks/coffee we paid £38.50 a head including service which i thought was reasonable value. Would recommend.

Festive menu was lovely. Food very good. Great service, very attentive waitress. Turkey was moist and tasty. Vegetables were cooked well and very warm. Heaters in the restaurant to keep it warm. Toilets very clean, but are down stairs. Good views from the terrace.
