Really nice and good looking place. Service is really nice and food (plant burger) although looked little disappointing tasted amazingly good. Dish size was little bit on small size. My only complain is that it took like 45minutes to get the food. My friends comment is - cheese / beef Burger was really satisfying

The pub is located in a nice little village by the canal. It is a decent place to stop by for some lunch and drinks.

What a beautiful pub ! Lovely welcoming staff with an Excellent selection of beers and spirits. We ordered food from the lunch menu and had a BLT and a Fish finger sandwich which was absolutely delicious. I would go out of my way to come back !

This pub would be perfect if only it served breakfast! A group went in for birthday brunch but found the only food available was crisps or cake. The cakes selected were chocolate, lemon and carrot cake and every single one of them utterly delicious. The decor is immaculate and clean and the staff were absolutely brilliant; efficient and enjoyed a good joke. Definitely will come back but will make sure this time it’s for lunch.

Took a while to be greeted and found our own table and then found someone to inform them of this. However, once we received the menus, the service was good. Enjoyed the food, I had the beetroot salmon open sandwich, which was delicious, a friend had the fish finger sandwich, which looked delicious . Have to say the mini dessert and coffees were great value... and a great size! (Although I forgot to take photo as looked so appetising, I just tucked straight in) I had the mini chocolate brownie, and my friends had the mini sticky toffee pudding (definitely not mini)

Very good service! The food was good, but I think the filet of fish could’ve been thicker and seasoned better. The toilet could also do with some neatening up from time to time.

Just to begin with: the food was absolutely stunning!
We had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the roasted beetroot and it was absolutely amazing. By far the best food we had on our 3 week journey through the UK. I really liked that the staffs asked for allgerys, I wasn’t used to such service.
You shouldn’t expect someone to come to your table and take your order, he have to order at the bar, but it’s all written on big signs soo..
A great add on is the location and the beautiful view on the river.

Great food, drink and service just a couple of steps away from the quayside at Wareham, and on the day we went, Saturday, the small but bustling market. Our delightful waitress sported a most excellent octopus tattoo up her left arm, indicating the slightly quirky nature that lies just beneath the more obvious surface appearance of a standard pub with food. Comfortable in more ways than one, could easily have lost the entire afternoon there.

What a lovely experience. The place is full of history and in spectacular surroundings, overlooking the River Frome. We only had afternoon tea but the service and quality was superb.

Delicious food. We had the camembert to start followed by the pie, both of which I can highly recommend. The staff were excellent. I have an allergy that I had mentioned when booking a few days before and they very kindly adapted to accommodate me. We had a great meal. The food, ambience, service and setting all combined to make a lovely evening - we will definitely be coming back.

Set alongside the river. It's a beautiful location. We stopped in for a quick refreshment. 5 star for the Pubs location, but I nearly fell through the floor at over £14 for a glass of wine and a pint of draft cider. Maybe next time it will just be coffee and a tea or we will go to the pub behind and give that a try, not quite on the river but in the same square with the great view.

Pleasant, attentive and welcoming staff. Good array of drinks and lovely delicious food served in this quaint, unique, delightful pub & restaurant by the waters edge at Wareham. We'll with a visit, and so beautiful in a sunny day.
