We ate here last night for the first time. Lovely home cooked food, good selection of nicely cooked veg and potatoes. Duck cooked just right, sauce very tasty and steak and kidney pie lovely. Starters and desserts lovely too. Don’t know why we left it so long to eat here but we will definitely eat here again. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend

Lovely food in old-fashioned yet charming surroundings. Maybe consider dispensing with the many placemats but otherwise don't change a thing. Genuinely well cooked food, fair prices, cosy place. We enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic attentive service here by the owners. Really good food and plenty of choice. Steaks cooked exactly. Also fish, chicken very good. Well worth a visit. Small restaurant best to book.
