I belive I am a week late to write a review here.
I visited this place last wednesday because there was half price offer going on the food.Hence, my partner and I assumed our dishes would be half priced. Unfortunately, they weren't. Only one out of four was half priced, hence this resulted us to pay more than our expectations.Also, I believe this should have been told to us before ordering as we asked them that the food is on half price.Nonetheless, the food was delicious and so was the double chocolate ice cream.Just that we weren't aware of the correct offer! :(
After searching all over the town for a good place to eat, trip adviser suggests this as it's top 2 in Warrington city. We knew why when we got there. We ordered from their set menu. The dim sum platter, noodles with king prawns and egg rice with beef. Great ambience and excellent service. Glad we got there.
Mr. Lau's is one of the few good Chinese food option available in Warrington city centre. If you are looking for a good evening with great food and some good music - Lau will not disappoint you. The restaurant welcomes you with a fabulous ambience and great service at the table. While you enjoy the delicacy, the musician and some enthusiastic staff members will keep you amused with their music and stunts.
Been wanting to visit for a while so stopped in for an impromptu dinner when in the area. Lots of great deals for dim sum and early dinner menu deals. Service was brilliant and food was incredible.

Absolutely epic dining experience. Such a massive choice of dishes, everything cooked to perfection and friendly staff. An excellent works night out with customers.
Recently ventured to Mr Laus for lunch.
We were first in the restaurant for the day and the staff could not have been more attentive.
The food was lovely and £15 for a 4 part banquet is fantastic value for money.
We've have been to Mr Laus a few times and always found the food and service great. I can highly recommend the firecracker beef!

Always brilliant, this is our favourite restaurant and has been for some time. We love that the food is cooked in full view of the restaurant - it comes piping hot and delicious. Almost lost a star on the service rating as a waiter took my partners finished plate while I was still eating, I didn't mind as I'm a slow eater but he said that almost spoiled the excellent service experience, as some of the waiting staff they have had here have gone above and beyond. We'll definitely be back!
Well what can I say absolutely fantastic so Amazing!!!! food was absolutely delicious I can't even describe how it melted in my mouth 🤤 I did not want it to end.... 🥰😍 drinks were great service was perfect staff were so lovely and never stopped it really was spot on. Went for my birthday it was perfect the ambiance of the place was romantic we were in a corner huddled away it really was amazing. Definitely would recommend 👌 💯
We've been meaning to try it this place for a while and it didn't disappoint. The food here is so good and tastes quite authentic South Chinese (I lived in Hong Kong for a while so hopefully I should know). Service is attentive and welcoming with an upscale atmosphere. The range of dishes is good and although on the expensive side, the taste to cost ratio means it's good value.

We booked a table online, and were shown to a choice of tables on arrival.
We appreciated the check box and pen ordering for the dim sum as that made it easy to order. Prawn crackers were brought to the table with our drinks, and we selected the duck and pancakes as a starter, followed by a selection of bao buns, dumplings and spring rolls to share, along with sides of egg rice and noodles.
All staff were friendly and the restaurant looked freshly refurbished, with everything looking clean and new.
We'll definitely be back, thanks.
