Thai Food Canteen

In response to a recent review about The Thai Food Canteen being SHUT despite the web site saying it was open .. they have never had a web site so the information on Google Maps needs updating. I am sure Bryan and Phantiwa would love to be open but things have happened and businesses have suffered. I only know them from eating their wonderful food and I miss it and both of them very much.

My wife and I were due to meet in Warrington and were looking for somewhere to eat the night before. I came across the Thai Food Canteen which looked really interesting. We weren't disappointed - a really quirky little place with superb food. The gentleman who served us was very nice and we enjoyed fresh, hot, and tasty food with brilliant Thai flavours. We've spent far more on restaurant meals that were no better than this and so I'd consider it to be exceptional value too.

Fantastic place, found this one day while walking around Warrington and have not looked back, great food, good price and quick service We don't go to Warrington often but now this is the only place we go for a meal at lunch as it is so nice. Not a massive menu but have tried most of it and never been disappointed. Well worth a visit

Walked past this place a couple of times and decided to give it try for my lunch. So glad I did! Food was just delicious, freshly made, and brilliant price at just £5. Really friendly owner. Loved it so much, I'm going back next week when I'm back in town and already decided on the next dish I want to try.

You can’t fault the place really for what it is: reasonably priced and tasty food presented in a cute cafe by warm people. The man who served us has always been lovely (we’ve been three times so far), he is very accommodating to us always but had to explain he couldn’t provide some vegan options for my girlfriend anymore because there wasn’t a demographic for it which is a shame! The food is always great and we’ve never had an issue with it. I would say it is fairly mid-range in price. Compared to the minutely cheaper places in the Warrington Market and the intensely priced food at Mr Lao’s for example. The food looks and tastes very fresh and is made for you very quickly. You can’t really fault it if you’re expecting a tasty and quaint Thai cafe to pop into sometime, with the added bonus of the food being surprisingly quick.
