Great pub. Dog friendly and superb staff. We went for a catch up lunch. Staff were friendly and conscious of making sure we enjoyed our meal. Typical pub food, tasty and reasonably priced.
I had an incredible breakfast experience at The Maltings Pub. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm of the meal. I highly recommend trying their breakfast options if you're in the area!
This beautiful old styled pub is located in a quiet corner of westbrook warrington in the middle of the woods. On the inside it looks like you've stepped into a home from hobbiton from lord of the rings. Warm and cosy with wooden beams and stone tile flooring. The food was amazing and is made by the chef from scratch instead and bought fresh instead of your more common store bought frozen foods. This is a dog friendly pub with a lot of snacks and accommodations for your pets including a small dog menu. The service was perfect with one of the staff fully making me and my partner feel welcome as first time customers giving us plenty of information about the place. The food came In perfect timing and was cooked beautifully and presented well. There are weekly events such as quiz nights and game nights, the pub has front and back outdoor seating areas too.
Good little ambience in this pub on way into sankey valley park. Gets quite busy with families but steer clear of those times and you’ll have a nice pint in a suprisingly secluded spot. A cosier pint than you’d think, given the location. No real ale on but a very good selection of continental and craft lagers on tap. Does food and i think it’s got the sports on. 🍺 🌳 🌲 🌳
Good place for a drink after a long walk along the Sankey valley
The food is delicious, had a very nice lunch with the rambling party. Very hospitable and clean. A good atmosphere on quiz night. Lunch was excellent.
Disappointed today, advertised 2 for £1600. On the pub classics, but I was charged full price. Yes, I could have questioned it, but I expect bar employees to know the deals and offers without me having to point it out.
One of the best spot to be totally satisfied. This PUB has become one of families best go to PUB/Restaurant. Love the beer, steak - absolutely amazing well seasoned and amazing meat, also we love their burgers there which we always order - This comes with chips and a dip for the chips. The meat patties are just so delicious to eat and its super filling. My favorite is fosters beer there. People are very friendly and kind. They have rest rooms for everyone, wheelchair accessibility all around the area, it also has amazing parking spots in-front of it. Seatings are indoors and outdoors. Indoors are most of the time reserved but outdoors too. Have a check on the images .... Above anything else ... they are super DOG friendly ...
Great food and atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff! Enjoyed the afternoon tea so much!
A lovely pub which welcomes dogs with open arms. They provide a dog station and you can buy doggy dinners. Very fiendly staff and a great menu selection. Home from home. Lovely outside seating areas too.
I was parked up by the canal & found this little gem while walking my dog!
We both received a very warm welcome as they are a very dog friendly pub! 👍😁🐶
I couldn't decide what too drink so the barmaid gave me a couple of tasters of their real ale which helped me decide on a pint of Land of Hopportunity! It was very nice & at £3.20 very good value!
The chicken & mushroom pie, chunky chips, mushy peas & gravy hit the spot to! Will definitely pay them a visit if I'm in the area again.👍😁
We had an issue with food not arriving due to the order going AWOL, but the young lady Nat who dealt with us was superb. She sorted out food (even though I think kitchen had closed) and drink in recompense. It's when things go wrong people prove their worth and she certainly did. Top marks!
