Asda Cafe

Giving 1 star as you can't give 0!! Rude staff wearing "Happy to help bibs!" They are clearly not happy to help or have the manners to talk to customers. I was going to imply I felt the staff member was being racist but reading Ian's comment below "Staff disinterested, disengaged, rude. LOTS of items missing. Staff unwilling to help with queries." Makes me think there are just idiots working in this Asda....never seen such lack of professionalism at an Asda before!

The problem is not actually ASDA but it is the old lady behind the pizza counter she is downright rude, she constantly replies with sarcasm, has a face on her as if I have hurt her children, obviously I have not, I do not know what I have done to this women to make her hate the job so much but she really ruined my experience at ASDA, I do hope she sees this and thinks to improve on her attitude :)

Do not work here, I was told by a member of staff is that if you don't work on a Sunday you don't get bank holiday pay, also I was told that I would get paid for my introduction day it I still haven't received any money and I'm still waiting for my p45 so to work here don't it's not worth all the hassle, I hope the management reads this review as I want my money and my p45

As I live locally I would really like to say I love this Asda but a few things have really tested this recently. Why can't the click and collect staff, who serve a purpose I completely agree, do their work through the night or at the very least outside of peak times. I'm sorry to say that the majority of them practice zero social distancing. I've been leaned across many a time. They gather in clusters complaining to one another, it was like a line of defence yesterday morning and I waited, observed but completely ignored by 4 of them to try to pick up chicken while they moaned about a colleague. I am a fan of the self scanning guns but would suggest more are installed as several times there have been none available. I waited 25 minutes for a George order at the pick up point while other customers who came after me received their goods. After questioning 2 separate staff members it came to light I had been 'accidently' forgotten about. A third young man was sent to deliver me my parcel and literally dropped and ran for fear I may have complained at him. You can do better than this Asda. I feel you rely too much on your large catchment area rather than improving your customer service.

Go early if you want to feel safe with current pandemic. This store gets slated regularly on Facebook etc for mask wearing etc yet still the staff (younger ones generally) still wear their masks under the nose! Don’t bother if you’re not going to wear it properly. If you want to feel safe shop before 8am. Store is normally well stocked and most of the staff that have been there for years are excellent, just a shame some of them can’t follow the guidelines
