Visited here for a meal only. Very comprehensive menu, excellently prepared. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Came here at 2.15 on a Tuesday afternoon so I'm not surprised it wasn't too busy. The restaurant looked rather dark on bright sunny day so we ate in the bar. The food was lovely. Well presented and friendly polite staff. If I'm being picky, I would say the steak I had was over salted, but beautifully soft despite being cooked rare, which is what I asked for. In my opinion it was reasonably priced for what we had. I have already recommended to family and friends and would definitely return.

Just arrived for breakfast here after staying the night at the hotel. I had to leave to get a train at 7.20 (breakfast started from 7) so understood that I wouldn't have time for a hot breakfast. The server very kindly offered to wrap up a veggie ciabatta to go which was more than kind. She told the kitchen to be as quick as they could and I just enjoyed the ciabatta on the train, it was delicious. Thank you for going above and beyond!

We did not stay but had a lovely early meal to catch up with family. The rainbow salad was delicious and a thumbs up for the rib eye steak. Best nachos ever as a shared starter. Not your usual corn chips but bigger and better. Wondering if they are made on the premises. Even better was the charming service of our server Iona who engaged with us from the start. She was efficient, polite and helpful.

Daughter was starting university in chester so we stopped at this hotel overnight as a gapstop. The food was amazing... the breakfast more so.
The hotel staff were extremely happy and helpful however the rooms desired a little help. The bathroom was very basic and not very clean with mould round the edge of the bath...

We came for our Dinner this evening and the steaks were absolutely stunning , for afters we has the cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding top notch

We went here for my Mums 60th birthday meal and had a lovely time. There was 25 of us and Oliver and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

We were very impressed indeed. Great steak, excellent service, staff were very accommodating friendly whilst staying professional.
