Good old pub food. Gammon as show in picture is really nice, good quality meat. It stood out from other meals we ordered. The chicken strips were good quality also but plating looked very bland in comparison..tasty though. Lots of items on the menu to choose from, will try again. They also take blu
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. A beautiful village pub. Big car park with overflow parking. Outside seating is nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Drinks and food arrived within 20 minutes. Gammon on skillet and Sunday Roast Beef were delicious and filling, top value for money. W
We went here for some afternoon tea and was greeted and given a table quickly. We have visited before a few years back and this time the menu had changed. I had a 16oz rump steak and it was cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was lovely and my kids meals were also terrific. The chefs and owne
This is my go to! Good hearty food, outdoor space when the weather's good, I went there last night and although I couldn't get through to book a table I literally managed to get a table for 10 inside when I just turned up! It was no problem for the staff, they were so accommodating and friendly? Kid
I really enjoyed some Italian food at The plough. Friendly staff and a cosy place inside.
A pub with typical pub food and drink options: burgers, fish and chips, fajitas, lasagna, etc. Various themed deals and a two-for-£12 offer that runs most of the week. TVs for viewing sports. The car park is a reasonable size, but fills up even midweek.
Very nice food and well presented pub. Think the food would have been better on a plate rather than a metal tray but aside that 5*'s
Good food and great service always enjoy going here
The Sunday lunches and fish & chips we had were all very nice indeed and very reasonable prices. Nice choice of beers as well. Slight delay bringing our meals but fine apart from that.
Never a bad meal here. Service is brilliant food is always tasty. You can also watch sports outside on a screen.
We had a lovely late lunch. The staff are always really friendly. They even remember what I eat!!!!
No issues with the meals. The sides wernt great.,the garlic bread with cheese, was very pale and like bread with microwaved cheese on top. Needed baking/grilling. The corn on the cob was again pale and very small. May past its best.
Our third visit for lunch in 4 weeks, this time for our daughters birthday. Table pre booked and we got the one requested. Food was excellent again. Fast becoming our new favourite for pub food. The meal deal is great value for money
