When you think of lovely pubs set in the countryside. Take your dog for a walk along the canal and then sit down for a couple of pints. Tom o the wood ticks every box. Situated off the old Warwick road next to the canal. This beautiful country pub isn’t just set in a great location the food they ser
Just came off the boat for a quick lunch time pint but was tempted to have a bite to eat after seeing the food being served. We had Fresh mussels and Gambas Pil Pil both excellent and mains a lovely pork chop with best mash I have had outside London. The beefburger was very tasty served with proper
I very much enjoyed my meal. I had the arancini and the pie. Highly enjoyable. The menu was varied with a few vegetarian options available if i wished. Service was quick, which always helps and a reasonable price for a weekend lunchtime. It is a dog friendly place with a canal walk available next to
Lovely pub and we had a very good roast dinner here on Sunday. The meat was fantastic, and the potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were too. I was a little disappointed by the limited amount of veg, but the extra side of cauliflower cheese was tasty. The cheesecake was very enjoyable for dessert, but th
Nice staff. Not bad prices but the chips were poor. They tasted as though they had been pre cooked then warmed up. Pity.
Excellent venue. With great staff to compliment it. Food was fantastic, Sunday dinner was perfect with beef cooked to perfection. The guest beer was bloody lovely church farm pale ale. Not had a good kip for years like the good old days. Infact i didn't eat again till breakfast & could have easily s
Travelling on the canal we moored and took drinks and an evening meal here. Good service and nice hearty food. Being a little absent minded I left some money and a credit card behind. The staff very helpfully took care of the situation and sent everything back to me.
Excellent Sunday lunch, beef was delicious as was the Eaton Mess! Service was lovely and welcoming. The salt & pepper shakers don’t work tho, go you won’t be disappointed a lovely afternoon
We tried to book Saturday for a Sunday lunch on Father's Day. Not surprisingly they were fully booked. We walked from our boat to the pub for a drink and Charlie, at front of house, welcomed us with the news of a cancellation and the table for 2 was ours. What a welcome, what a place and OMG the fo
My go-to canalside country pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and fab food. Super dog-friendly but also has a lovely restaurant for those who aren’t too keen on furry friends. Also has a nice, large beer garden.
Stopped in for an end of walk tea/coffee. Very dog friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely want to come back for food at some point!
Thank you, good food and very friendly and attentive service. And the dog loved his Bark Burgers!
Had a wonderful meal. We were celebrating 🍾 ❤️ mums birthday. The staff were fabulous, food excellent and we were made extremely welcome including our dogs.
I lead a walk from this pub with 15 people, the Publican was very helpful in letting us use her car park while we walked, we had a table for 12 people booked for afterwards, food was excellent with plenty of different menu's to select from, table service was brilliant, many thanks.
Our first time here and wasn't disappointed. I had steak my wife had Lamb shank daughter and her boyfriend had 1/2 chicken. Every meal was fantastic. Well priced excellent location lovely surroundings. I have reviewed many places and I can easy say this is right up there with the Boot in Lapworth. 1
