The Durham Ox is a beautiful, friendly and atmospheric pub with great food, lovely friendly staff and a nice choice of beers and wines. My husband and I highly recommend it and we are usually hard to please

Lunch was great, food excellent. With attentive and friendly service. The Nacho's are unbelievable and there big definitely would say there a Sharing plate lol.. It was a nice sunny day when i went so sat in the lovely garden with great views.

Went back again the weekend 13/11/22, again food was great, service as expected top notch,
Came here again 30/09/23 very nice again had the steak and mustard on a flat bread sandwich which was really good and more filling that you’d think.

A wonderful place to eat. Lovely decor and surroundings and light and spacious. Great food too. Emily attended to everything we needed and she was lovely - friendly and perceptive, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

A little gem that I hadn't been to for years. The bar service was very friendly upon arrival. We made our way to the restaurant, our server was Hannah, she was amazing. The food as you can see was perfect in every way. This was my 2nd day off in 2 months and I am so glad I decided to spend it at The Durham Ox. A huge thank you and to mention again Hannah, as she had to put up with my cheesy whit n humour.
We will definitely be going back. Be warned Hannah and team. Thank you for such an amazing afternoon.

Really friendly staff, really pretty place. Was here for a wedding but can easily imagine enjoying a quiet pint here too. The large amount of space is fantastic. Plenty of parking, if youre looking for a pub in the area, i recommend!

A truly perfect place to celebrate Father’s Day, today. Fantastic service, so warm, attentive and efficient. Delicious pub food, great range of drinks, fab kids menu and a cosy, yet vibrant, feel-good atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

The decor is unique and rustic looking, the lampshades are all unique with quite nice designs.

Called in Thursday evening after a day fishing nearby. Quite busy quizz night good atmosphere,staff very friendly. Large outside areas, lots of table's and seating. Enjoyed the food really tasty well presented, good menu selection. Prices are okay,what you would expect to pay. Enjoyed my visit would go back.
