I am a regular visitor and I am always happy with the food and service.great choice of vegetables and always fresh and piping hot.meat is always very tasty.staff are very friendly and attentive.nothing is any trouble.cant complain about anything

Very busy place booking is essential. The food was gorgeous 😍 the staff were equally as lovely. We enjoyed it so much we went vack 2nd night and also had breakfast 😋

Busy, but the food was good. Had booked a table but ended up being put in the bar area. Very little waitress attention there, had to go to bar to get service. Overall fine. Would eat there again.

It's a carvery, that's the simple bit, don't go looking for a huge menu, there isn't one. But what it does, it does very very well, excellent meats and vegetarian options, the veg is great and gravy is almost good enough to put in aug and drink.
There is no atmosphere so bring your own, at what it does Toby can't be beat

We had breakfast here and it was excellent value for money they even do Yorkshire puddings for breakfast. The black pudding was a bit hard but everything else was great. It does lack atmosphere but these chain restaurants often don't have any anyway they are just places to fill your belly not take in the beauty of your surroundings . Overall they give value for money.

Spot on food, not shy on the meat either, only issue was the p/b sausages were a bit chewy today but not had a issue before. Service as always excellent from Laura. Never seen without a smile. Best toby around!

One of our party has many allergies our server Laura was excellent making sure we had allergy information and ensuring everything was ok with our food. Once we'd finished our mains we were again offered the allergy info to select a pudding I'd we wanted it. Great service thank you

When we arrived we were quickly given a table for 4 even though we hadn't booked. Laura A served us at our table and was absolutely wonderful! She was very quick to serve us and regularly checked up on how we were. It was very busy but I saw that Laura served all her tables so efficiently that no one seemed to have to wait for her, she also was chatty and friendly to all.
We are on holiday from NZ but if I ever had the chance I would definitely recommend this place.

Our favourite place for lunch, especially when served by Laura or Michelle. The carvery is excellent, with Ben as our carver cutting the meat exactly as we like it. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices and great staff, what more could you want!

Mia was a great host and provided a great customer experience for myself and my fiancée especially when training a new employee. and had a positive and friendly attitude.
The food was also superb and will definitely be returning.
