Stopped for Sunday lunch. Dog allowed in bar, nice open fire. No veggie option but husband had gammon and he enjoyed it. Great value.
The best pub meal we have ever had. Super child friendly with outstanding food and a brilliant pint. The waiter who served us, Kyle, went above and beyond. He is an absolute credit to the pub.
We were looking for a room last minute, managed to find this lovely pub! Very welcoming staff and amazing service! The room was amazing, spacious and really nicely done! Would definitely recommend even if not staying.

Oh WOW tried the Sunday roast for 1st time today! Awesome! Meat cooked to perfection and fabulous vegetables ,the cauliflower and cheesy broccoli were best ever!

Lovely place off the beaten track. Really good food and the bar staff were lovely. The TV wasn’t working unfortunately and it’s really off the beaten track for those who don’t drive
They took a booking for food for 10 of us for my sons 18th after being let down by another place at 6pm on a Friday evening. Within 5 minutes a table was set up for all of us and after a short wait we were tucking into some amazing food and drinks. We will definitely be back again
Just been for Sunday lunch, absolutely amazing, definitely recommend, the food and service was excellent, all the staff were so pleasant, already booked for next weekend. Doggie friendly in the bar area, lovely cosy room with log fire.
Friendly and helpful staff, good selection of beers and ales, the barman knows his ales, and excellent food, well worth a visit when you're around the Derbyshire Dale's
