What a fantastic place sort of tucked away behind a big long bush . Lovely setting, gardens, interior, toilets ( important) And most of all fantastic food & great friendly service. We couldn’t fault anything. Even had linen napkins & fresh flowers on the tables. It’s all about in the detail and these guys have got it!! Well done ..Will return.. 😊

Visited with our friends who have been before. This was my wife's and my first time. The two ladies ordered fish cakes which were delicious. However the plates were ice cold and so the fishcakes went cold very quickly. My friend ordered a rump steak medium rare which was almost impossible to cut. The manage replaced this with a fresh one which was considerably better and succulent. My steak and ale pie was delicious. Sadly as we were hoping to return for a colleague's birthday we will not be doing so now. Service was excellent and courteous. Ale was good
