While working in the town centre I googled the nearest shop to me and this came up. A short 6 min walk from the high street later I walk in and ask for a small portion of chips.
It took no longer than normal to cook them and they were lovely! A bit crispy near the bottom of the portion but doesn’t take from the fact I enjoyed them. Fairly priced aswell and nice polite staff. Deffo will return here

I only use this takeaway on Watford FC match days when it is mobbed. However, the service is fast and the food is always excellent. Chips are super crispy and not at all greasy and the fish has a super batter. My only slight gripe is that sometimes it runs out of fish (unless you want a 15 minute wait, which with kick off approaching is not an option). As a non meat eater I then have to turn to the fish cake and I've yet to find a takeaway that does a decent one. Good prices with a large cod and chips under a tenner.

Good fish and chips at a great price. I had a tasty cod and chips. My fish was fresh, hot and crispy. The chips were OK too. My food tasted like it was made with love. I have had this meal at other Watford chippies and unfortunately the portion size was a lot smaller than what I have come to expect.

Superb food, fresh, hot and extremely tasty. The plaice is a must, best fish and chips in Watford, and the doner kebabs are traditional and worth the money. Great menu, a good choice of foods, a very established place in Watford, speaks volumes.
The curry sauce was delicious and delivery service spot on time. Lovely staff, always polite and helpful.

Best fish in town! Best chips in town! Best mayonnaise in town! Been going here for around five years and the food still tastes great! However, being a single person I felt the portion of chips were too large, and you can only order 'regular' or 'large'.
