Love our local Chinese. Still good, even when ordering without MSG. Tofu in black bean sauce and crispy noodle dishes are good & love their sweet and sour prawn balls. Consistent and quick if you collect š„°

Very homey vibe. Quiet, nice food. Like 2 go there when tired as its close by.
Really lovely food, which was delivered fresh and hot. The batter was really light and crispy and the satay, nice and spicy.
Ordered here for the 1st time today. Food arrived 25 minutes before the predicted time of 1 hour, a right result as I was really hungry. Both me and my partner throughly enjoyed our meal! Will definitely order from here again. :)

I have never had a bad order here. The salt and pepper ribs are particularly good. Generous portions and always good quality. Best Chinese takeaway in Watford by far.
Iāve tried many different Chineseās over the years but New Imperial is the best by far !!! There curry sauce hits so differently compared to other Chinese restaurants. Portion size are perfect š I cannot fault this place at all

Still not as good as it was years ago,but definetly better than it was a few years ago.
its been sold and bought by different families a few times in the last 20 years,20 years ago,i would have given it 10 stars,then it went badly down hill when it was sold first time,family that have it now seem to be there long term,but it seems to be a bit hit and miss quality wise,but still better than many in the area..
