A real gem :) plenty of games, so everyone can find something to play. Nice atmosphere, lots of people (for a large group you better book in advance). The menu is also great for some nibbles and drinks during the game

Brilliant little gem just outside of Watford! Brilliant food with good prices, milkshakes are gorgeous! And the board game selection is varied. Only £2/hour for a table if you're just playing the games! Would definitely recommend. They also do a stamp service where you get a stamp every time you spend over £20 and you get freebies depending on how many stamps you've collected

It was a great place to play some games and buy some of them too. Everything is neat located at your right there are 3 or four shelf's of different games such as ticket to ride, splendor, dominion and more. At your left you can see all the games they have to sell, news and not so new at great prices. In the middle is the front desk were the coffee and other beverages are made. Mint chocolate coffee is a great choice. So if you are near, if you wanna know new games, if you wanna try them and want to be with kind people. This is a very good place.

I went here with a friend and had a really great time. The teams made a really comfortable and friendly environment, when we visited you could tell everyone was welcome to be themselves. They have lots of games and coffee was great. I use a wheelchair and it was a little busy but everyone helped us and just great experience overall 😊

Good board game cafe, plenty of games to play. Tables are fantastic, dual layer to place dishes or game boxes below. Nachos are pretty tasty, some of the best out there. Hot chocolate is rich and delicious. Games for sale as well, including yu-gi-oh and magic the gathering cards. Toilet was clean. Very welcome and well run operation.

Haven’t been for a couple of years and I was so happy to see it’s still there. Everyone that worked there was so lovely and could not have been more accommodating. They were warm and friendly, helpful and kind. Excellent value for money and food is delicious with a massive range and excellent value. Only down side are the chairs, wide butts like mine don’t stand a chance on those little metal things lol

My partner and I have visited this store a number of times and we have always found it to be excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming, always recommending games that have now become staples in our own gaming collection. The food is great as well with lots of options for people who are veggie (though we do want them to bring back the veggie fish fingers!) Would thoroughly recommend and when you go I suggest buying some of the mystery dice!

We had a great time! We pre-booked our table online a few days before. My son chose the classic game show board games as that’s what he loves and 2 hours flew by! We will be back again for sure. HOW IT WORKS 🎲Huge library of about 900 games ♟️There is a cover charge of using the games £2.00 per hour, per person. Every 4th hour free! 🀄️Consession rates are available WHATS AVAILABLE 🥤 Well it is a cafe after all but I would recommend trying their milkshakes 🍔Burgers, quesadillas, chicken & waffle, Mac n Cheese, Curry 🍻Beers, Wines & Ciders ACCESSIBILITY ♿️ All on ground floor with ramp into the cafe, Personal assistants (carers) go free EVENTS 🗓️Check out their website for themed gaming days/quizzes 📍Queens Road, Watford (walking distance from Atria shopping centre.

So it’s a cafe where you eat drink and play real board games! Incredible unique place with friendly staff. Recommend to book in advance as it does get busy. Atmosphere is brilliant staff are brilliant! The cost is reasonable £1.50 per hour person. Lots of vegan and veggie options but you get Crisps as sides not chips (this will cost extra) food is nice tho.
