The Wharf Inn - Welford - Photo album

We found this on a Google search for somewhere to eat on our way to South Shields from North Essex and I am glad we did. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. It was nice to see a decent vegetarian selection and my Butternut and beetroot Wellington was yummy. My friend g
Arranged a gathering of old friends for lunch after a walk. Very accommodating and helpful. Opened up the Canal Room so we could sit together with accompanying dogs. Brilliant friendly service, good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Thankyou.
Stopped for lunch before heading off along the canals for a walk. Great location, small but good menu with varied choice and food was delicious. Sat in the garden for drinks post walk, which were lovely and set up for all weathers. Will definitely be back!

A lovely welcome and lunch for a walking group. Fresh home cooked food. Highly recommend the ham, egg and chips. Large menu, spoilt for choice. Will return to try more options. Friendly staff thank you everyone.
