From start to finish an excellent place too relax and eat ..staff all very attentive and there when you need ..from greeting you to seating you ..the menu choice from the wine too the food .. be your taste conservative or more I like a great bottle .top of the range red for me .the food as always was outstanding ..been a while since I have been but.was not disappointed ..thanks for a great evening ..see you again

Our first visit to La Rocca on a rare and much appreciated night off from parenthood.Despite having lived in the area for many years, how have we never been to this absolute gem? From the warm and friendly welcome on arrival to the genuine and attentive service given by all staff throughout the meal absolutely made our evening complete. The food was absolutely wonderful. To start fresh bread, olive oil & balsamic vinegar followed by the mussels in tomato & chilli sauce and the mushrooms with mozzarella & tomato sauce were delightful.So full of flavour. Whilst we're we're spoilt fir choice with so many tempting main courses that will now be explored on future occasions we both could not resist the benchmark dish of Spaghetti Bolognese and we were not disappointed A generous serving bursting with flavour which we accompanied with a fresh mixed salad and buttery garlic bread. No italian meal would be complete without a tempting dessert so we opted for milk chocolate profiteroles and of course the homemade tiramusu which had sadly for me been extremely popular so I substituted for a delicious lemon tart, thinking the tiramusu would need to be sampled on a future occasion. I was delighted when one of the wonderful team mentioned they had a serving in reserve and treated me to an additional serving of the best tiramusu I have ever tasted ! Thank-you. We enjoyed a lovely pinot grigio rose with our meal and finished with a rhubarb & ginger g&t and a fabulous expresso martini to round off the best meal in very long time only to be further treated to a delicious limoncello on the house. Thank-you to all the team at La Rocca for a lovely evening.
