Royal Balti

Visited The Royal Balti for the first time tonight for a meal with my mom, can't wait to go back. I asked for a recommendation as I wanted to try something new and was so happy I did - the food was out of this world, so so good!! The staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. Honestly couldn't fault anything.

Lovely food served with a dose of trying to sell me a bottle of beer for £10 when the draught was half that. Having been a regular visitor to the Royal Balti up to 2012 when we moved away from the area it was brilliant to return, when staying locally with a friend, to find the same amazing food and great service I remembered. Having sampled Indian food across the UK and in a few other countries too their Chicken Chat always stood out as superb - and possibly my favourite dish ever. Although I no longer eat meat staff were willing to offer a Paneer Chat for me and it was every bit as delicious as I remembered. It's 60 mile round trip from where we now live but we'll have to find excuses to make it more often as hubby and I really miss Royal Balti. Thank you team for making my night!

Iv been going for a few years now on mostly a weekly basis. always had very good service and chats, with staff, Iv always ordered the chicken tikka phall with extra naga and 2 plane nans, sometimes with chips. If your someone who likes hot food, this is only place in telford that will do a proper phall, always delicious. I'd recommend going on weekdays and weekends as takeaway is always quick, and eating in is a pleasant. With the recent redecoration it looks brilliant, iv been in and eaten in a few times too, and ordered exactly same, and it's even better than ordering takeaway. Iv only ever had two occasions where iv had something not In my order, and I'd say that's good going!
