Came here with friends on a recent visit. Enjoyed the pie, bubble and squeak, and mushy peas with gravy. On a cold and wet day, it was just what we needed! The other brunch options also sounded tasty and there were quite a few vegan cakes (and a cheesecake) to choose from. If I wasn’t so full, I’d have tried the vegan cheesecake, as it looked really good. I would visit again!

Absolutely marvellous. I was a bit apprehensive at first, being a meat lover and habitual over eater, about going home hungry. My experience however, was quite the opposite. Lovely sized portions of wonderful, healthy, guilt free food. And all tied together by bright smiles, a welcoming atmosphere and a stunning restaurant and garden that doesn't end! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great vegan cafe. Sunday lunches are huge and there are great options for everyone. Good service as well and lovely garden to sit in when the weather is nice (and the garden is dog friendly). If you are in the area you should stop in.

Found Plantside whilst travelling from Lancashire to Cornwall and called for lunch. What a fabulous place right on the high street but with a beautiful walled garden to the rear. We ordered a aubergine parmigiana and a portobello mushroom brunch plate with two teas and oat milk. The menu is extensive so something for everyone. The food was delicious and it was so tranquil sitting in the garden in the sunshine. I had a chat with owner Anna and expressed how much we enjoyed our visit. Definitely a place to visit if you want great food in a peaceful setting.

Waited a long time to visit this plant based eatery. Excellent, varied menu - it was difficult to choose just one dish so we had a few! A BLT with side order of bubble and squeak, French sourdough toast with fruit compote, yoghurt and maple syrup - all delicious! Pretty small garden at the back for extra seating. Reasonably priced - will be returning for a Sunday roast soon.

Small, friendly vegan cafe/restaurant. Sunday lunch to die for! Beautifully cooked vegetables, and an interesting rages of choices for the main meals. Great home-made puddings and cars too. A lovely place to eat out - or get a take-away.

One of the best cakes I’ve had in a long time. Reasonably priced and some of the food you wouldn’t even know was plant based! Great staff and friendly service. Can’t wait to go again.

Quite possibly the best vegan café I've been to. Normal food done really well without animal products. By normal I mean not like a health food shop. It's only been open a short time and I think the staff may be new too food service. They weren't very forward so we had to grab their attention but once they were with us they were super helpful and pleasant to interact with. Portion size was a bit small for me but prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended the potato wedges, cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the cakes. Oh my word. Get in there and eat some. Spiced apple and custard cake...why has this never been part of my life?!
