Had another family meal at The Globe. The starters and the mains were delicious and cooked to perfection.

Second vist and stay in the Smithy cottage. Mandy and stuart were as welcoming as ever. Luna was pleased to see us again.
Great food and atmosphere, and as usual, Stuarts cooking was excellent.
Can't recommend this pub enough.
We will be booking again soon .

An amazing pub with lovely tradional pub food, great ales and the most friendly, genuine hosts. Amanda and Stewart can't do enough for you - if you find this place - keep coming back for the most relaxing, fun and engaging evening

We visited The Globe yesterday to meet up with some old friends. We received a warm welcome. Drinks were delivered to our table and all of our questions regarding the menu were answered with a smile! As we had arrived just before opening time the landlady apologised that our order would take a little longer than normal to be served, but this wasn't a problem.
The Globe is off the beaten track, but well worth visiting if you are in the area, especially if you are looking for a dog friendly pub
