Varano's Ristorante Italiano

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. The bread at the beginning of the meal was homemade, the fried mozzarella was extremely tasty and the penne with sausage was in the top for Italian places in the area. The homemade cannolis were decadent and I would order those by themselves. Highly recommend this place.

Food was delicious and drinks were DELICIOUS!Atmosphere was good, did not feel rushed and the location was great. Went with a large group, waitress was nice and made good recommendations and was friendly. The bartender, Ronnie, was hysterical and made excellent drinks, super fast. As opposed to some places (The Piano Bar) that took us a while to get all our drinks. Will definitely be back soon!

We dined at Varano’s about 6 months ago and had a really nice meal. Last week we were passing through Wells, and remembered our great experience there. This time we dined outside in their covered dining area on the second floor. We enjoyed another very good meal, drinks and service. Our “go to” place in Wells!

Great atmosphere and service. Food was really good with wife having Ovieti (Chicken) which I will enjoy as leftovers. I had the Classic Marinara with Penne, and sausage. Marinara sauce was excellent, Penne cooked perfect... the sausage was horrible. Server mentioned they are made in house and was surprised when I found it dry and overcooked.

Firstly the resturant has a nice setting and atmosphere. In addition, the staff does a decent job of waiting customers. However, the food looks good but could easily be compared to The Olive Garden. The staff did remove an item on the bill which is good service. Lastly, the resturant seems fancy but that is just a facade for another overpriced sitdown family resturant. Pros: Complimentary bread and oil, short wait times, nice parking lot, nice interior/exterior and nice staff Cons: Seafood, Pasta and food in general. The prices of the food
