The chips were lovely and the cod was perfectly cooked, nice crispy batter and not greasy. To eat in was £12.95 for a regular cod, chips and mushy peas, £14.95 for a large.
We also had kids meals which they enjoyed and my wife enjoyed the Steak pie and chips.
They served the walk ins faster than those eating in and so be sure to factor that into your visit if need to feed children quickly 👍

We had decided that one evening of our trip we'd have fish and chips from a good chippie. We ID'd Tuckers from Google Maps as the pla(i)ce (geddit?). It didn't disappoint.

Go here everytime I'm up Wells way... Tasty sausage and chips... There's also a stairway that goes to nowhere... A metaphor for life, and I think that is class!

The food was good, the chips were well cooked. I had a burger which was good. They still have room for improvement. They use a cheap quality bun with the burger, this could be upgraded to a better quality bun (e.g. a brioche bun) and even create a special secret burger sauce to make them unique. Overall it was good but still room for improvement. They should be open more hours of the day to increase revenue and help the local community better.

Freshly fried haddock and masses of delicious chips. Not quite enough salt and vinegar for my taste so I will keep some salt in the van for next time. Very efficient service. It was Saturday around 6pm and they were pretty busy. A popular chippy.

We stopped here for some fish and chips. Despite not really being open for sit-in dining they let us eat at one of their tables.

Friendly service and delicious food. We shared a popcorn chicken, then I had large battered sausage and chips (with an outstanding curry sauce) and my husband had bacon double cheeseburger and chips. The chips are really nice, quite often I’m disappointed with chip shop chips. Fresh and not at all greasy, perfect!
