Just passing through and stopped off for some breakfast and I'm so happy I did, Got the full Monkey puzzle breakfast (swapped mushroom for plum tomatoes) a pot a tea with free refills for about 9 quid and it was the best one I've have had for ages. Excellent service too, thanks a lot

Proper traditional café. Went for breakfast which was excellent and great value. Egg yolk was a stunning dark orange. Had a veggie and a 'puzzle' breakfast with fabulous coffee. First visit and definitely not our last. Will be one of our new go-to spots! Service was excellent and a very friendly, welcome atmosphere

perfect example of what a caff should be - lovely friendly staff, I had the mushroom tomato egg sandwich and the egg was gorgeous (beautiful deep orange yolk!!!) all the condiments you could possibly need, very reasonable prices, clearly very popular with regulars and locals. would deffo come again if we’re passing through welshpool

Nice dog friendly reasonably priced cafe, hidden away. Was on crutches. Invited to sit on arrival, order taken, drinks out very quickly, food followed.

I believe the man who spoke to me for my order was called Chris,very polite friendly and a good sense of humour. I very much appreciated feeling comfortable and humbled by the service provided (especially coming from Bristol to work in Welshpool this week).
Anyhow,the breakfast was beautiful and the tea was lovely (and the price that came with it staggered me quite abit. You're talking least double the price for a breakfast and tea down in Bristol,and it's certainly not as good quality!). I appreciated as well that all the food is either from Welshpool or farms around the area,again you're talking double for that quality in Bristol.

Absolutely loved this little gem.
We had a breakfast which I have to say is one of the best I've had in a long time.
Kids mini lunch deals were really good value and anything they wanted on a sandwich they could have.
Very nice staff who provided an excellent service in a friendly environment.
Should we pass through welshpool again , we will definatly drop back in.
