Wonderful Indian restaurant with lots of dishes to choose from. Whether you want something hot and spicy or something mild, there is something tasty for everyone here. The place a beautiful interior design and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend. ^_^
This is probably the best Indian restaurant within Hertfordshire. It is authentic…. I am Indian
We had chicken and lamb chops out of the tandoor to start. The lamb chops are exceptional and reasonably priced. We also had the prawns, again really big king prawns and where fantastic.
We had the goat handi and butter chicken. The host handi is delicious, it is cooked traditionally with whole spices and meat on the bone to give a deep flavour. We had rice and paratha to complement.
The restaurant has a welcoming environment and great customer service. It is quite popular locally and busy so it will be a good idea to make a prior booking.
The food is good and tasty although the taste palate differs compared to the Indian food that you find in North London Indian restaurants. The portions are not big. There can be improvements in the contents, so the paneer dish we ordered had only four cubes of paneer, which is not great, but then again, this should only be considered a minor observation, as the cleanliness of the food, speed and excellent service as well as the taste itself compensate, more than adequately.
The vegetables and salads are fresh. The premises serves alcohol and there is plenty of parking available in the town centre.
If you are in WGC and looking for good Indian food, then this is the place to go to. Recommended.
Surprised this place not got 5***** Absolutely amazing food always been coming here good few years and always outstanding taste of food Curry is one of my fav foods and I've tried alot of places but Neem tree gotta be top of these highly recommend
Great restaurant food was really nice and staff are attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone.
This was the second time I'd visited in two weeks! After eating here with a friend the food was so good I brought my partner along the second time and we weren't disappointed! The food (which arrived quickly) was delicious and full of flavour; the chicken in my jalfrezi was so tender it just fell apart as you cut it and was spicy but didn't leave me a sweaty mess! My partner also enjoyed her meal and told me she's going to bring her friends here when they come to visit. Highly recommended.
Easily the best Indian Restaurant in and around Welwyn Garden City. Lots of choice. Never floating in grease. Upstairs and downstairs, so great for a party booking. But just as good for an intimate dinner for two. Onion Bhajis are crispy delights. Samosas full of meat not potato. Consistently good year after year. Easy parking in the evening. Really kind and helpful staff. Licensed. Yum!
----------- 2023 UPDATE ------------
Years since I left this review. Nothing has changed. Consistently good. With drinks, starter, main and sides expect around £25-£30 each.
No small portions here. Excellent value.
Great vegetarian selection. Many unusual chef specials well worth trying.
👍🏼
Great food with good portion size. The service was friendly and prompt.
Lovely food. Good portion sizes.Quick service. Fab!!
Absolutely outstanding service, food and value for money. We paid 15 pounds for a meal for two that we had to pack up in the end. The food is very tasty and we got service like we were nobility. Also got starters and dessert on the house. If you are nearby, definitely check this place out.
P.s. the price was really cheap because we got the side dishes as they were the veegtarian options.
