This is the best Chinese takeaway around here, by a long shot. Food is always fresh, never to much salt and always tastes lovely. Some of the negative reviews here seem 'manufactured' to me, they like to mention a rival as better but that rival got taken to court a couple of years ago for very poor hygiene standards. To the reviewer who didn't like the chips from Great Wall...they do not, and have never done chips.
Love this place. Not really a fan of specific dishes and normally prefer a buffet but this place changed that. Always a happy polite service.

Bought food here for the first time a few days ago, and I'll definitely be going back. The large "Four Wander" Cantonese Style and a single Special Fried Rice was enough food for two. The Sweet Corn and Chicken Soup was delicious, and my wife has said that next time she's sick, that's what she'll be demanding.
First order chili beef great taste 5* but chow main noodle very thin and small, should be thick than will absolutely amazing. 3* Total I give a 4*.
Have now ordered from here four times each has been excellent good quality and friendly staff. Best Chinese food in welwyn by far.
Always amazing food - chilli beef to die for also ribs are yummy but all the food I've tried is great
