Awesome food. Awesome service. Highly recommend the karaage chicken! Lovely place to sit outside on a warm summer night. Better yet, their kitchen doesn’t close until 10pm.

I came to the doctors tonic last weekend. Me and my 2 friends got food and plenty to drink and I couldn’t say a single bad word about this place. The staff were very attentive and polite, the food is great and for a good price. Drinks and the presentation is on point. It’s a great atmosphere for all people. Couldn’t recommend this place any more! Thank you again! Highly recommend you try the cheese and bacon burger, delightful!

We were looking for somewhere close to our hotel for some food and drinks, and found The Doctors Tonic. We ordered from the menu and the food turned up as expected, hot and tasty. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We even bumped into some friends we hadn't seen for a few years which made the time there very special. Would definitely recommend this gastro pub its got a very friendly ambiance

We've visited a few times for food and drinks. Always a warm welcome from the staff, the service is great and the food is always well cooked and presented, the pub does get very busy at lunch and dinner, especially at weekends. I'd definitely recommend a visit, the beer garden is lovely with loads of tables and nice greenery

Staff are brilliant (especially Becky!!) food is always amazing and there are some real characters, especially the older man that drinks red wine or Guinness (think his name is Pete) always stumbling about rambling about his Spanish wife and I’m sure he’s pissed himself on a few occasions

A very big pub with a car park and a nice garden out the front. We enjoyed our meals here. The menu is typical Greene King style. The prices were what we expected. The food was good but the plant based nuggets were only just warm when I received them but the halloumi fries made up for that. I'd recommend coming here as it has got a good vibe!

Updated my review after 2 further visits & having a much improved experience with the customer service. Not sure if there has been staff changes or training given but a big improvement and seemed fair to reflect that in adding an extra star. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. My only gripe was the lack of menu options - the food I selected was my 3rd choice after being told that they didn't have any pies or fish options (was ordering at 3pm on a Sunday).

Came in for a meal with my mum food came out quickly and tatsed delicious. Drinks tasted good. Service at the bar was an excellent. I was served by becky at the bar who made odredering nice and easy.

Went in for the first time in years yesterday. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Sadly the pub itself is a little unloved, the bar as was pretty sticky and the wallpaper was hanging off of the wall where we were sat. Nothing a deep clean and a bit of TLC wouldn't fix. Can't fault the staff though.

Popped in for a quick drink on Thursday all the way from Northern Ireland. The place was nice good crowd of people for a week nite good quick service and although didn't have any food it looked great. If I'm in the area again I will definitely drop in hopefully for a bit longer and sample the food.

Lovely chilled pub. The staff member was helpful and recommended their favourite dish which by the way highly recommend the camembert open pie. Yum! And spent a lovely afternoon drinking gin. Would def come again � xx
