Really good Indian and Pakistani food (especially non vegetarian) for people who are from India or Pakistan at a really great price.
The desserts are great as well
I went here with my brother. Its close to the station and we wanted to go somewhere new and eat something quick. It has a five star hygenuie rating and prices are cheap too!
The service was pretty good; staff was polite and food didnt take too long to make. They brung food to the table which is quite nice.
Everything on the menu is relatively cheap. I order two lamb somasas for two quid and large kebab roll for three pound fifty. Large portions and the meat tasted really succulent. Wasnt some cheap meat. Fresh orange juice available too.
They have a tv on in the background and decorations are pretty basic. Halal and you can order takeaway too. Youll definitly want to come back. Meal wasnt heavy and tastes great too. Recommended.
Very nice place to have a quick breakfast at. I had returned from night duty and had some work around stopped to check the breakfast. The owner was very cordial. I asked for paya but they didn’t have so settled for cholla puri. The owner recommended I taste paratha as its famous. Tried it was amazing5/5 cholla was also good. Tea was strong and nice.
Very nice breakfast. Typical Pakistani menu and being a lover of north west Indian / Punjabi food, you have to love this Pakistani joint where you get meat added to your platter. (*typical Indian breakfast is similar minus the meat).
The owner and his assistant were super charming and helped us decide the menu. They suggested the two of us go for one side but the food lover that we are and this being our first visit, could not resist taking two. Although had to pack more than half of the second dish home. (had a sumptuous dinner as well😋😋).
The Nihari was awesome, spicy and fulfilling. The Chana with chicken was just like desi roadside stalls. Aalu paratha was direct from. Punjab, very flavourful. The Halwa could have been more sweet, however, felt good with poori. We also had masala tea, which was as expected.
The hospitality was commendable. Very reasonably priced.
Definitely recommended for a spicy non vegetarian/ vegetarian Asian breakfast.
Good food, proper desi halwa and chai. Overall very clean and family friendly. Bigger than it looks outside, found parking in the side roads easily on a Sunday morning. Glad they open early, we got in for 9am and it was buzzing. Service is friendly, a bit slow at times, they have high chairs but they didn’t look clean. The toilets are tired and not very inviting - you’d need to be desperate to use the lav. As previously mentioned, the Puris are very oily indeed! Prices are very reasonable and portions are good. We ordered one chole between two adults and two halwas to share between us and two toddlers. We ordered 6 puris’s, two teas and one omelette (not a big portion, enough for one) and our bill came to £20.30. They give everyone tap water as standard. Mon-Fri they have an offer for omelette, paratha and desi chai for £5 which is a bargain!
If u looking for a authentic pakistani breakfast this is the best place. Freshly food and halva puri and choley are very tasty, and specially lachha paratha was very special and tasty. Service is very good. The staffs are very helpful. I recommend to all come here and enjoy.
Great food at reasonable price.
The love and respect uncle gives to the customers increase the taste of the food.
As a Indian , we always crave for Pakistani Biriyani and this place full filled my expectation . I tried in Tooting but this Lahori is equally good . The price is £4 for a chicken biriyani portion which is unbelievable .
Bature were good but chanay seemed to have misplaced flavor (this time only) although its usually good.
Parathay and omelette always reminds of home so was tasty as usual.
Had the desi omelette, cholay, aloo paratha and laccha paratha.Delicious! Quick service, friendly. Restaurant was clean, not fussy...focus is on providing a meal which feels homecooked and was yummy!
Overall great experience but waiting time on Sunday morning was more then expected. It’s a small restaurant and most of the things prepared fresh so it may take some time to fulfill your order. Must to try things are halwa puri and chana, Aalo paratha are great, Nihari is must to try with freshly prepared kulchay, in drinks fresh orange juice and mango lassi is must to try. Parking could be a challenge on event days, but conveniently located near train and bus stops.
Wow, great biryani which was liked by the whole family. Tasted authentic and it was very tasty. Gives nice portions, would definitely recommend to anyone who likes biryani.
