A wonderful evening in beautiful, unique and opulent surroundings. Such a lovely idea to make use of the station house and the carriages. Exceptional food quality. Be prepared for some expensive dishes for those on a tight budget although the children’s menu is very reasonable. Staff very friendly and overall atmosphere very welcoming, this will be one of the highlights of our stay in Dorset.

Nicely presented food and very friendly staff. We visited for lunch and enjoyed the quality on offer. The focaccia bread was lovely but there was a lot of it and we couldn't eat all the crisps we were given.

The location is wonderful in west bay, a quirky restaurant that draws you in and does not disappoint. The inside is decorated beautifully and continues the quirkyness, so much so, that I overheard the owner was asked for decorating advice by a customer. The food was outstanding, generous portions and great quality. I had a 'fat controller' roast dinner, the best roast potatoes I've ever had at a restaurant. The team were very friendly and accommodating to a solo traveler and her dog. Will definitely be returning when I'm back in the area.

Absolutely delicious meal here.. Beautifully presented. The carriage is really quirky, you forget where you are when you come out. Great service, friendly staff. There's a set menu on at certain times if you wanted to keep to a budget. Will absolutely be back again!

Wow! What a find. A gem in West Bay. I booked lunch in the dog friendly part, The Station House, and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. Staff were tentative & super friendly. The first thing that is a wow and hits you is the decor and this lends itself to give it super cool vibes and great ambience. You could tell from the menu the food was not going to disappoint… well, it was first class!! Delicious. I know when I’m impressed as I’ll be happy to then have coffee and a desert. Definitely going back. Next time without our dog and go for dinner in Brunel.

This place is absolutely magical. For a start the location is brilliant. Our guests found it easily. The best thing about this place is the care and attention to detail that Claire, Ross and the staff put in to all aspects of the restaurant. We wanted an intimate wedding reception with good food and a quirky venue that combined our love of history, and vintage glam decor. We got it by the bucket load. From the start the station kitchen helped us with menu planning, order of the day, table decorations you name it. They catered for dietary requirements very well and they’re selection of non alcoholic beverages surpassed most places I’ve been to. OMG the food!! all I’ve heard for the last week from guests is how good the food was. I had Asian style sea bass followed by a passion fruit mousse it was incredible. Sorry for rambling but they really did go above and beyond. It was the best reception we could’ve hoped for. I’ve been informed they recently got a license for wedding ceremonies and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get married.

Just had a Sunday roast with the wife in one of the train carriages. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. A unique setting as well to eat. We will make a point of retuning as we enjoyed it very much. P.s. The local beer wasn't too shabby either......

The food - OUTSTANDING The Interior and design - OUTSTANDING The Staff and Chef - OUTSTANDING This place is so unique and beautifully done in railway carriages. The vibe is 1930’s and feels like you are in an Agatha Christie movie. The menu and food is superb and amazingly presented. With two course for £18 on the specials board. This gem I have missed out on as it is at the end of a carpark and easily missed. When you approach bridpoint at the beach turn left and then left again into the carpark you will NOT regret it!

Being taken out for a mystery sunday lunch turned out to be a real treat and surprise. Bridport old railway station has been converted into a restaurant kitchen and the old waiting room is now a bar with very exotic and eclectic decoration. After being escorted into one of two converted carriages both having details of their long working history we eagerly scanned the menus and opted for the Sunday roast dinner. The portions are very generous and beautifully presented which may explain why every table was full and booking essentially. A week day and kids menu are available and the drinks menu is fascinating with a good selection of non alcoholic drinks. All the food is sourced locally and couldn't be fresher. The staff and service are all very relaxed and friendly, despite the novelty of the settings this is a serious and professional establishment. We left very contented with a huge sense of nostalgia for a walk along the beach. WELL DONE 👍

Amazing food experience- undeniable- after a rather frosty greeting. Service was mixed ( dare I say it quality could have been better) but I’m not sure I’d have noticed if our welcome had been warm! We will return next year no doubt as this is a lovely venue.
