The Station Kitchen - West Bay - Photo album

A wonderful evening in beautiful, unique and opulent surroundings. Such a lovely idea to make use of the station house and the carriages. Exceptional food quality. Be prepared for some expensive dishes for those on a tight budget although the children’s menu is very reasonable. Staff very friendly a
Nicely presented food and very friendly staff. We visited for lunch and enjoyed the quality on offer. The focaccia bread was lovely but there was a lot of it and we couldn't eat all the crisps we were given.
The location is wonderful in west bay, a quirky restaurant that draws you in and does not disappoint. The inside is decorated beautifully and continues the quirkyness, so much so, that I overheard the owner was asked for decorating advice by a customer. The food was outstanding, generous portions an
Absolutely delicious meal here.. Beautifully presented. The carriage is really quirky, you forget where you are when you come out. Great service, friendly staff. There's a set menu on at certain times if you wanted to keep to a budget. Will absolutely be back again!
Wow! What a find. A gem in West Bay. I booked lunch in the dog friendly part, The Station House, and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. Staff were tentative & super friendly. The first thing that is a wow and hits you is the decor and this lends itself to give it s
This place is absolutely magical. For a start the location is brilliant. Our guests found it easily. The best thing about this place is the care and attention to detail that Claire, Ross and the staff put in to all aspects of the restaurant. We wanted an intimate wedding reception with good food and
Just had a Sunday roast with the wife in one of the train carriages. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. A unique setting as well to eat. We will make a point of retuning as we enjoyed it very much. P.s. The local beer wasn't too shabby either......
The food - OUTSTANDING The Interior and design - OUTSTANDING The Staff and Chef - OUTSTANDING This place is so unique and beautifully done in railway carriages. The vibe is 1930’s and feels like you are in an Agatha Christie movie. The menu and food is superb and amazingly presented. With two course
Being taken out for a mystery sunday lunch turned out to be a real treat and surprise. Bridport old railway station has been converted into a restaurant kitchen and the old waiting room is now a bar with very exotic and eclectic decoration. After being escorted into one of two converted carriages bo
Amazing food experience- undeniable- after a rather frosty greeting. Service was mixed ( dare I say it quality could have been better) but I’m not sure I’d have noticed if our welcome had been warm! We will return next year no doubt as this is a lovely venue.
Really nice restaurant in West Bay, service and food excellent, Sunday roast was really good and everything well cooked, staff very accommodating and not rushed at all. Very family friendly but chic/classy/funky at the same time. Both carriages have lots of history which was noted in the menu which
It was our first time dining at the Station Kitchen and it didn’t disappoint. Dawn was the lady serving us and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. She made the experience all that more enjoyable. The food was great, I had the Crab for starter and the sea bass for main and both were delicious.
I loved it here. The food was great. Lu-Lu, the waitress, was brilliant and took the time to explain how the restaurant got railway carriages, and also said how nice it was to work for the owners. super experience.
Some pretty fine dining to be had here, not somewhere for a cheap meal but certainly a venue for a great meal. The kids had a curry which was great, with good portions. My wife and I both had steaks which were spot on. We were too full for dessert, so perhaps on our next visit we'll go lighter on th
A truly special evening. I thought I might be disappointed? But no a truly great experience. The Station Kitchen should have a Michelin star. I have been lucky in life to eat at some very high end restaurants, The Station Kitchen certainly comes in my top 3 eateries. Made even more special by meeti
Had a fabulous evening celebrating my husbands 65th birthday at the Station Kitchen. Quirky decor, good selection of gins, fantastic food and very attentive staff - in particularly Iris who was absolute charming. Would highly recommend .
Absolutely outstanding. Crab crostini, scallops and landing of the day were all superb. We had a delightful evening and Sophie was an absolute joy. Thank you all, we will be back.
Booked here for a birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. The theme and decor are gorgeous, perfect details and impressive service. Catered fantastically for veganism with great alternatives. Fabulous cocktail menu. Will definitely be back when we visit Dorset again.
