What a little gem. Forget everything you read, service was amazing, food was excellent and plentiful, hot and looked great on the plate. Will definitely return. We had the squid to start with and then an amazing steak and ale pit but I had the amazing bangers and mash with crumble to follow…. What a meal. Out in the country but not too far. Trust us, it’s worth a visit.

Very friendly and welcoming service. Food great, homemade bread, jams, sausages, burgers and a lovely Sunday roast. Very quiet location but perfect to get away to for some peace and quiet. Dog friendly too! Had a very relaxing couple of nights stay. Great base to visit the North Norfolk coast.

We visited for lunch. The food was delicious. Homemade sausages were just lovely. (way too much mash though). Chunky sweet carrots and cabbage nicely cooked. Serive was friendly and efficient. Restaurant was clean and quaint

This is a really good B&B over a pub/restaurant in the quiet village of West Beckham. Our room was very nicely done, although plug sockets were scarce, and it could've done with a full-length mirror. Being directly over the pub, there was some music noise until 11pm-ish on the Saturday, but that comes with the territory, I guess. Breakfast each morning was extremely good, with the hot food clearly done with care and attention. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our last evening, and it was superb. The location is perfect for exploring everything north Norfolk has to offer. We would definitely return here.

Food here was excellent. Homemade pie was very good and the fish and chips were too. Very friendly staff. Dogs welcome. The beer garden was OK but perhaps in need of a bit of a spring clean! Would visit again.

A chance encounter, we were searching for somewhere to eat on a Tuesday evening and WOW!!!! What a fantastic stroke of luck for us to find this wonderful place. A pub with a truly authentic feel, with exceptional wine, reasonably priced, delicious food and such a friendly welcome. So a massive thank you to Dave and all the team. What more can I say. We will be returning to this part of the world just for the opportunity to dine and drink here again. In fact, we're going to take advantage of the rooms here and stay a few nights next time. I have to also say the surrounding area is also beautiful.

We've passed the signs many times on our travels between home, Fakenham and Cromer and today decided to drop in for lunch and we we're not disappointed. Great food and very friendly and helpful service. We went for the fish and chips and the fish or rather fishes, there were two, was so fresh and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the 'diversion'.....

A swift stop-in to catch up on a bit of work, grab a drink and take 5 from the day found me at the Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. The menu looked great, but I'd just had lunch so I had one of their locally-sourced bottles soft drinks (cherry and plum) which was lovely and refreshing. Feels very much like a good place to come for a dinner or a Sunday roast and they do lots of events too, also they have rooms upstairs if you're thinking of stopping someplace.

The best pizza I have ever had. Don't be tempted to order one each.....you'll never make it!! Really nice pub. Friendly staff and they have music on Friday evenings.

Lovely country pub with friendly staff. Food was excellent and Greene King IPA went down a treat. Music on a Friday night and quizzes at the end of the month. Would definitely go again when in the area. Didn't stay overnight so can't say anything about the rooms.
