The Bottle Kiln - West Hallam - Photo album

Found just off of the main road. The driveway is quite small, but there is a small sign. Parking is limited especially when it's busy. This is basically a small shop and a cafe. Not many bottles in sight !!! The shop has homeware and some gifts, although highly priced. The cafe itself is very nice,
Called in today and had a jacket potato one topped with vegan chilli and one topped with avocado and chilli jam. Best jacket potato we've ever had, the chilli was amazing, the avocado and chilli jam, just superb, massive jacket potatoes and a lovely tasty side salad. Excellent cappuccino with oatmil
First time visiting today. Me and my partner had x2 large breakfast and x2 lattes. It came to approx £30. We feel this was good value for money. The eggs were to die for!!!! We also went in to the shop they have on site and bought a lovely handbag and a little quirky gift for my mum. This came to a
Our first time of visiting the Bottle Kiln and we had a lovely time, enjoying a coffee and then browsing in the shop. The displays are very well arranged with much to tempt you. Nicky was extremely helpful in explaining their gift wrapping service and late night opening in preparation for Christmas.
Really nice food, drinks and hospitality. My wife and I sat in the tranquil garden, which is beautifully set out with lots of plants around a centered fountain. I had the ham, chorizo and spring onion quiche which was delicious and came with a green salad, cous cous and potato salad. They also se
Lots of beautiful 😍 gifts to purchase in the shops there and lovely tea 🍵 rooms. Wonderful sitting out in the Japanese gardens, enjoying the tranquility over coffe, tea and scones.
Lovely place. Blink when driving past and you'll miss it. Food was great, really enjoy eating somewhere where quality is the watchword. Started to snow just to finish things off. Stuff in the shop is a bit pricey but that's because it's good quality.
I've been lunching with family and friends at The Bottle Kiln for a couple of decades. It's a great mix of quality giftware and a good resaurant. I recently ordered a fritatta, which was beautifully prepared. Entrees and coffee are consistently good (I never have room for dessert). The atmospher
Researching places in the area, this came up a lot. On Saturdays they are trying new events in the evenings. On our visit , from 4-7 they were serving platters and pizzas with 2 for £10 cocktails. Food portions were enormous which is recommend they cut down, or share food for sure! But the food was
First time visit to this coffee venue. It's well set out, extremely popular, and the snacks look amazing (although resisted trying one!). Coffee tasted great and was presented well. Would have liked a choice of cup sizes however. They also have shops for you to browse around (including a card sectio
Very good, quality tasting, hot coffee; really excellent choice of nice cakes. Pleasant room to sit in too.
A great stylish place for shopping, meeting and eating. The food here is superb! I have never tasted such a delicious homemade quiche. To be fair all the food is of a high standard and the restaurant is run like clockwork. The lady who seems to be in charge is very efficient. There are 2 nice gift sho
Lovely cafe, pleasant outdoor seating area when the weather permits, good choice of food, drinks and cakes, great service and pleasant shops to browse through
Beautiful little coffee shop, with excellent gift shop! Very relaxing garden 😊
Ive been going to this cafe since the early '80's and have always found the food delicious. I Iove the quiches and fritatas. It has become rather pricey though so I can't afford to visit very often. Portion sizes are really good
Lovely place, very interesting with several shops to browse. I went for lunch and came home with a dress as well! Unfortunately they were out of the drink I ordered and substituted it without asking and I didn't care for the drink I got; they did offer to exchange it but I didn't want to embarrass m
This really is a lovely place with wonderful outdoor seating. We only had coffee and cake which was great but we wish we had gone for something more substantial as every plate that passed looked amazing. Well worth a visit and the shop has some really good gift ideas.
