Played on the spitfire yesterday with a member of the club Norman Kane. I have to say what a very good course and testing too. Greens were brilliant and the lay out of the course was excellent. Can't wait to come back down and play it again. The club house was very good and the staff are very polite well mannered and friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone was down that way
Played the spitfire course today, really enjoyed it! Some fairly challenging holes. Very well maintained greens and fairways. The staff were very friendly and the shop is very well stocked. Cost £45 for 18 holes, would definitely recommend.
Course in good condition, greens receptive if a bit sandy. Beer and golf carts not the cheapest though. Played the Hurricane this week tee off at 1pm bit slow to start with but not to bad, about 3.5 hours for the round in a 3 ball. Fairways decent and not to hacked up. Some nice holes, 9,10,11 and 12 are long holes around the turn and can make or break your scorecard. Playing Spitfire this week. Photos of Hurricane added
Play 36 here once a year on a long-established society day. The welcome & service are excellent. Two great courses, testing in many parts! Greens were a lot slower than I remember. it could be me! All in all, a great day, as always. I look forward to going back next year 👍
Nice Course, back 9 has some well shaped holes with creek water.
Front 9 has multiple cross over holes that slows up play. 14th hole Hill is memorable!
Attended a charity day, hurricane course, not too taxing and quite a pleasant walk, a long day though and bit of a drive for me although easy to find
I recently visited for a Funeral Meal..... The staff were good and the rest area was also good. I am sure the Playing Facilities are also good because the car park was fairly full on a Monday.
My first visit to West Malling golf club was very good. The clubhouse is very nice, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. We played the Spitfire course and although it seems short it's actually quite tricky, especially the back nine. Overall a good day and we will go back to play the Hurricane course in the near future.
Great course, but could definitely use a toptracer system to improve your game and track your distances. Driving range a bit basic but it's good they have one!
Played Spitfire course, good course not flat but some lovely holes, except 14th 🤣 Had nice breakfast and was welcoming frim all staff that worked there
