Had a really nice Thai here recently - the food was great quality and reasonably priced. We were given helpful advice on what to pick, and how to enjoy the food to get the most of the flavours. Would recommend.

We went to Pad Thai for an early dinner as we were driving from Brighton to London. The restaurant is in a 15th Century building, which is worth a visit just because it’s so old and quite unique. The owner was not at all ‘pushy’; she was just enthusiastic about Thai food. We had the satay and the Thai dim sum. Both were fine. We followed this with a green curry with prawns and a panang with beef. Now I’m not a dessert person but the description of the desserts we tried has converted me. The Kanom Tuoy - steamed Thai coconut - and the Kanom Gluoy - steamed Thai bananas - were both unusual and exceptional. We drank some New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that was perfectly fine. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. A real find.

The Valentines set menu was STUNNING. It's been a long time since I've eaten Thai food this good since I was last in Thailand. A great selection of menus to choose from which allowed me to try some dishes that I perhaps wouldn't have usually. The Pak Faidang (with vegetables actually from Thailand) was sensational. Never quite enjoyed a vegetable side dish as much. The owner even came around to every table and explained every dish, what best to eat with what and offered any changes or substitutions that we wanted (which we didn't). Every dish is made fresh and by hand, even down to the dipping sauces, and you can tell! The service was lovely, everyone friendly and bubbly. Considering this was our first time here I can honestly say I can't wait to go back.

This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in England. The food is outstanding. The Chicken Thai green curry still remains my favourite and I compare all others to it. We had outstanding service and I felt the prices we reasonable.

All round fantastic! When I booked, I mentioned one of us had a gluten allergy. On arrival we were taken through the menu so that they knew what they could have (which was the majority of things on the menu). This really put their mind at ease as they knew rather than being given a table to cross reference! On to the food. Delicious. I had the soup which had lots of chicken and mushrooms in it. The soup itself was fantastic. Main course I had a green curry which was beautiful. Finally for desert I was recommended the Thai banana. I went with this. Once again it was really tasty. One of the best if not the best Thai meal I have had in lovely surroundings. Cannot recommend highly enough. I will definitely be going back!!
