Visited Lakeside Wimpy many times, always enjoyable and staff are friendly, and looks after you. Nice and relaxing.
Food is nice. The booth seating could do with a refurbish.
It's been a while since I've been to Wimpy, about 2 years. First time at this particular location though. It's amazing how the burgers still have that classic taste from my childhood from about 20 years ago. For this location I had a cheeseburger and with chips (chips cost extra). Clean restaurant, the condiments are all on the table and they ask if you need any others, I think my friend asked for BBQ sauce or something else and the polite and helpful staff had that.
Food consistency and quantity is nice for the price and I had a strawberry milkshake which is by far one of my most favourites out of most other different restaurants. Quick service. Decent space with enough seats for the location. The only downside as to why this place hasn't got full stars is that Table no. 3 was badly wobbly, couldn't put any pressure on it while trying to cut food or lean on it.
A very nice and clean wimpy with the older interior style which was a nostalgic throwback.
Very friendly staff greeted us and showed us to our table, the food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Very happy with my experience today at this wimpy. Just a shame there aren’t many of them around the country left.
Fast and friendly service. Food freshly cooked and served to you hot on a plate with a knife and fork. Staff always friendly to my little boy who loves coming here.
I love wimpy. We grew up in wimpy. Dinner every Saturday before mum took us shopping. I live in South Yorkshire now and can't find one here, so when I visit down south, I have to go there. It has never changed. Love it
We like an occasional visit to a Wimpy, simple food well prepared, decent pot of tea (ask for extra bag if you like it strong as we do) and particularly appreciate that you get a proper knife & fork to eat with.! None of that plastic throwaway stuff.
Service was fast, you pay on way out.

Loved it , the staff were brilliant, so friendly nothing was too much trouble ,and the food was hot, tasty and just as I rememberd it , haven't had a wimpy for years. Thank you we all will be coming back.

Food was pretty good, could have been cooked and presented slightly better especially given the price. I've certainly had better at other branches. Staff were friendly and service was quick, maybe too quick?
Very good place for hot, quick food and great service. If you prefer a more relaxed environment like myself.
Had fried eggs and toast with tea. Recommended 👍
