Fast and friendly service. Food freshly cooked and served to you hot on a plate with a knife and fork. Staff always friendly to my little boy who loves coming here.

I love wimpy. We grew up in wimpy. Dinner every Saturday before mum took us shopping. I live in South Yorkshire now and can't find one here, so when I visit down south, I have to go there. It has never changed. Love it

A very nice and clean wimpy with the older interior style which was a nostalgic throwback.
Very friendly staff greeted us and showed us to our table, the food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Very happy with my experience today at this wimpy. Just a shame there aren’t many of them around the country left.

Visited Lakeside Wimpy many times, always enjoyable and staff are friendly, and looks after you. Nice and relaxing.

We like an occasional visit to a Wimpy, simple food well prepared, decent pot of tea (ask for extra bag if you like it strong as we do) and particularly appreciate that you get a proper knife & fork to eat with.! None of that plastic throwaway stuff.
Service was fast, you pay on way out.

Food was good, very quick, clean with excellent service although toilets need a major update and do look a bit of a warzone. Overall pretty happy.
