Went to see the Morris men dancers and how good it was. So pleased we made the small journey to see them

We popped in today for some lunch on the way past. We were met by the friendliest Landlady who came over promptly to take our order. Food arrived quickly and was beautiful . We popped through to the bar side as well and it was amazing old school elegance, we only wished we could have stayed for longer.

Great pub for a very good pint. Staff were incredibly friendly which reflects on how relaxed the pub felt. Great public bar with darts and a very good pool table. Didn't eat there but there was a large party in the Lounge who seemed to be having a great time and the roast looked very, very good!

We have been here twice so far and the Sunday roast are amazing! I would recommend though that you ask for mash rather than roast potatoes as the two past times they have been a bit dry on the outside as if they have been air fried with no oil. Service is amazing and cannot be faulted. We have been looking for a replacement for our previous pub which shut down for a roast and I'd say it's the best we have found so far!

We stopped here on a cycle ride,friendly staff and good beers. Covid regulations in place. Lovely beer garden and lots of distanced tables
