Second time we have been here.
It's my favourite Italian restaurant.
Food is amazing, clean restaurant and service is great.
Definitely recommend.
One of my favourite places to eat!
I'm gluten free and they catered to my allergy without any fuss or hesitation.
They didn't have the fish I asked for (monkfish) but explained why and suggested a great alternative that I would gladly eat again! Red snapper is delicious

Delicious food!!! Went with friends and we all loved it. What really made the dinner experience amazing however, was the lovely friendly staff. Entertaining my friend’s antics and just overall such lovely sweet people. Don’t often review places but the experience was that good!!! (Highly recommend the profiteroles!!!)
If you want to visit the best Italian restaurant you can, look no further. Flying Pasta simply blows all of the chain Italian restaurants out of the water.
The food and service are top notch, and this is a restaurant where booking ahead is a must.
Both the Pollo E Pesto Rosso (pictured) and Lasagna Al Forno are the best you will ever have.
Not our first visit and definitely not our last, this is the best place to visit before or after a show at the Cliffs Pavillion.
Excellent, authentic, family run Italian restaurant. Situated right on Southend seafront with views across the estuary, Flying Pasta is not to be missed. My partner and I stopped here for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon and had some of the best Italian food we’ve ever eaten. We started with a beautiful and wonderfully presented garlic pizza bread, covered in diced mozzarella, fresh tomato’s and torn basil. Next up a Caprese salad and the Calamari, both were wonderful, the Calamari was perfectly cooked and served with a very good sauce, my partner assured me the Caprese was delicious, which I’ll have to take her word for because she’d finished it before I got the chance to try any! For mains we had the Spaghetti Carbonara, a Margherita Pizza and the freshly made Ravioli Totti. The pizza was perfectly simple and delicious, the Carbonara was also good but I felt it lacked a little flavour. The fresh Ravioli was certainly the runaway winner in terms of flavour, very bold and very rich. Service was friendly, informal and attentive, the dining area is classy and understated and they should get an extra point for having linen napkins, a lovely touch that you just don’t see much anymore. Highly recommended and definitely our new favourite
Fantastico! First time here with my Italian friend as was an amazing experience. Staff were very friendly and welcoming to us both. Food was so good, and so reasonably priced too for 2 people shared pasta dish and pizza, plus 4 glasses of wine, just over £50, very reasonable. We will 100% be back again.
The team were really friendly, flexible and helpful. A real family appeal to the place with great food and drinks too. They really went out of their way to help us celebrate a birthday. Would definitely go there again
A really excellent place with friendly service (we hadn't booked but they took us anyway) and outstanding food. The calamari starter was amazingly good (crisp and tender), and the pizze were terrific (good, chunky strips of prosciutto cotto). The rest of the me u, and the specials, looked just as tempting. We will definitely be going back when next we are in Southend.
First visit to the Flying Pasta and it didn't disappoint, from the lovely food to the friendly service.
I am sure we will be back in the near future.
We love Flying Pasta. It’s a go to for us when there is a celebration with the kids. The food is always spot on, with a great choice. It has a relaxed atmosphere, which makes it perfect for families.
