I thought the restaurant's owner was rather friendly! We were the last customers to leave that night, and he came to shake our hands and say goodbye to us at our table. (not in a rude and rushing kind of way!)

Quite tasty fare at this lovely spot. Id recommend it to all Essexuals, not just ones living nearby - worth the drive for a romantic evening.

In September, my wife and I celebrated our marriage with dinner for our wedding party. It couldn’t have been better. We had the best service, the food and drink was spot on and we couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. My goodness, everything was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

The food is superb and the service is great.
The owners are really friendly and committed to giving you the best service. They give the place a warm, happy atmosphere to enjoy a family meal with the children.
This restaurant is small and quite compact and gets very busy, so if you want a peaceful quiet meal, this isn't the place for you. Plenty of parking along the sea front, although parking directly outside the restaurant is tight for disabled customers you would have to drop and park. There is also a car park close by, but it's usually full.
Overall I would give this resturant a 9/10. I would definately recommend this place if your after a real Italian experience.

One of the best Italian meals I've ever had. Only small negative if you can call it that was the venue was crammed full of diners.. Says it all really...
Went on Sunday for lunch 4 adults and one child. Such an amazing atmosphere. Felt so special from the moment we walked in to when we left. Couldn't do enough for you and the food was exceptional and great value our grandson had lovely treats and a special pizza . Thank you all so much for an excellent afternoon.

Never had a poor meal here. Since moving home I still drive 60 odd miles to come here, wifes favourite restaurant. Recommend the veal with creamed mushrooms.
