Recently been taken over by a wonderful new team who have breathed a new lease of life into this pub. Food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. Drinks are perfect. Well done Sid and team

Stayed here a few times in the last few months. Lovely clean rooms. Fabulous friendly staff. Very good, reasonably priced food. Parking to rear just give your reg number at the bar but loads of signage to remind you. Highly recommend a visit or stay here.

Good value and tasty food, very friendly staff, free parking for pub guests and a good selection of drinks. Will be back again soon. Nice afternoon out.

Despite us calling in advance that 10+ people were coming from work and booking a table, we weren't given a table and just had to squash around a 6 seater until someone else moved and we spread over 2 tables. Also when we ordered food the absolute shock of the bar staff was a little uncalled for as we had also asked if we could order food and had given a list of how many people would be eating/drinking/both. The food turned out to be really tasty and the service was quick, but it was ruined slightly by the fact we felt like we were a burden and our previous "booking" was apparently completely ignored.

Went for the Sunday quiz. My family was made very welcome. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. The place is spotlessly clean, and the drinks were great value.

Lovely welcome and helpful staff. Good general knowledge of the area and town, Meal prices very good value, food served promptly and cooked and presented well.
