Make sure you sort any car parking to avoid fines.
It is free to park, if you sign in on their tablets inside the pub.

Good beer, watched a match and played a game of pool after as they have contactless payment for the pool table.

Very friendly and helpful landlord. We asked if they had available of tnt sports to watch a game of football and the landlord couldn't have been more helpful. We will return next time we're on holiday this way again. Kind regards Chesterfield fc supporters.

Lovely Sunday dinner for a great price. Came quickly all freshly cooked. Fresh veg cooked to perfection came in a big bowl and a big gravy boat which I loved. Service was great. Would defo call again after a walk 👍

Called here on my parents recommendation.
I booked ahead for 4 people + 1 dog. We all had Sunday lunch.
The main menu is for during the week I believe.
The food was lovely. The staff very friendly. The pub was spacious enough not to be sitting on top of one another and has its own car park.
But most importantly for me dog 🐶 friendly.
Will happily come back.

Lovely pub inside and out. Beautiful weather so we sat outside in the garden. Food was delicious and excellent price. Staff really smiley and friendly. We will definitely go back here and recommend the Red Lion.

We have made this pub our lunch stop off point when we head up to the North East. The pub grub is hot, tasty and fresh and the welcome is warm. There's a little car park at the rear. No complaints about the beer either. Great pub
