There's a midweek special dinner menu: - two courses for £22 pr three courses for £25 including a bottle of wine. Had the brie, steak and crumble all very good dishes tasty, flavoursome. Great venue all round.
Great food and staff. Suffers a lot from poor management as you will often have to wait a long time for service and food.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the outstanding fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chips were golden.

We had a wonderful evening at The Minnow. We had a table for 8 with the dinner and drinks on Saturday night. The restaurant was full and it was busy. However, the service was good and I even was treated with the cocktail which is not on the cocktail list. The food was delicious, especially roasted scallops with risotto from the Starters is very good. The staff and the manager were all very attentive, friendly and professional. Thank you very much!
Popped in on a rainy Wednesday for lunch. Surprisingly busy and warm atmosphere (had the fire on) with great friendly service from Ollie.

A clean and tidy, well decorated place, couldn't fault it.
Good food, slightly muddled arrival when it came to ordering food with the waitress (we were given the wrong menus/ had to check and recheck re allergies). Food came quickly and was good quality and the menu was nice and varied. Management welcome and check in during meal was a lovely touch, very friendly. Bit lacklustre in terms of atmosphere we felt and outside felt a bit scruffy, but we would go there again if in the area.

My other half and I frequently come to The Minnow. The atmosphere is lovely and we particularly enjoy the garden on warmer days. We usually bring our dogs who are welcome in the garden and bar area, with water bowls and treats available. Ollie and Mike have both been great, making sure we have what we need and checking in to make sure our experience is enjoyable. The food is excellent, my partner and I really enjoy the pizza! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good meal and welcoming atmosphere.
A reliable place for very good food with friends/ family. Offers good value for money with set menus for special occasions. Staff are lovely.
