Vinolo

What an amazing find on a hot day in Weymouth, lovely place to watch the world go by, some Prosecco, Beer and the cheese and charcuterie sharing board, washed down with the lovely house Bordeaux, life doesn’t get any better than this. Great food, drinks and friendly and knowledgeable staff, thanks guys.

I’ve been twice in the space of a week as I had such an enjoyable time the first time, even though I was on my own. Carl helped me pick out a lovely red and created a lovely cheeseboard just for me. The wine and cheese were both divine, so much so, that I took a couple of friends a week later for the Vinolo experience which Carl kindly modified for us so we could try 4 reds as opposed to a mix of red and whites. We had a really enjoyable experience and the pairings were spot on. Places like these are sorely lacking in Weymouth and Vinolo is now my go to place when I feel like treating myself.

Stopped in for lunch and sat outside in the sun! Really glad we did as this is a proper little gem. The food menu is limited to cheese and charcuterie (except on Wednesdays when they have pizza night according to the sign). We had the Deli Board which was a mixture of cheese and cold meat (see attached picture) which was amazing. When they served it they told us what each of the items were and where they came from and we found it delicious. The wine list was also good and I can recommend the French Rose! They really seemed to know their stuff!
