We had a lovely meal. There was a mix up over the seating and the sweets. All sorted out.

A good night out with friends. Reasonably quiet, had a meal which was great. Maybe the portions were too large for the ladies, but advised to try the bite size meals next time. Us blokes were happy though as we polished off the left overs. Also it was the last day of the 30% off mains which was a bonus. That prompted an additional bottle of Shira between us. Winners all round. The England v Australia football game was on but not intrusive volume wise. A great night out and didn't have to shout to be heard. Well done to all at The Famous Old Spa, Weymouth.

Large pub on main road with good parking. Plenty of food options at good price. Play park for kids in the large garden.

Lovely little local. The decor is a little run down but not to a bad extent. The menu is extensive and the food was actually great. Service was seedy attentive and very friendly. About the only disappointment was the fact that it advertised itself as a venue to watch sport and had lots of large screens around the place but despite speakers spread around the place the volume was virtually non existent to the point where the fruit machines drowned out any chance of hearing anything.

Our little lunch club visited mid-week. There is no full table service: Food is delivered to the table, but has to be ordered at the bar. The food was as expected for this kind of establishment - a pub. Of particular note, though, was the steak and ale pie. Mashed potato was requested - and served - instead of chips, and the pie itself was absolutely delicious. I wish it had been me that ordered it! Although busy, the carpark had plenty of space, including disabled spots, which we needed. There are also four electric vehicle charging stations available. All-in-all, a pleasant lunch with decent food. 🍌🙂

We came here as every where else we tried was too busy to seat us. Well, it was their loss as this place was lovely. The food was amazing full of flavour and came out very quickly hot and fresh. The staff welcomed and just a nice quiet place to eat. Will definitely come back while were here. They also saved my bithday meal out thank you.

We have used this location twice for school class reunions over the past years. Plenty of space for 30 people. We also had smaller gatherings with 4 of us. The tables are large and give plenty of elbow room. The atmosphere is still good, but is in need of a renovation now,. Our last visit was late June when we met a classmate who had ordered our children’s book, ‘The Adventures of Rolly’.
