Had fish and chips here today, all cooked fresh to order. My fish was a little dry in places but others who had same were fine. Good portion size for money and sat outside and watched the world go by. Can pay cash or card but cash preferred.

We placed a massive order and they dealt with it brilliantly. The food came quickly, they were super cheerful and went out of their way to be helpful. And the fish and chips were amazing!

Had a meal for 4 yesterday . Fish was very large and really well cooked. Chips , curry sauce and peas were all great . Just because it’s on the sea front don’t think it’s poor quality , would recommend , and thanks to the guy working there who recommended we visited the Smugglars Inn went today !

Well run fish and chip shop. The fish and chips were very tasty and not bad prices.
Can get very busy but orders are quickly processed. And your number is called out. Some seating out front which can get very busy. But overall and excellent place😃

Overall a decent fish and chip shop. The service from the lad behind the till was fantastic - polite, upbeat and friendly. The food was decent with most items cooked to order. My only criticism is menu choices are limited compared to other chip shops - I.e one size of fish, one size of chips, one size of sausage etc but it’s not a dealbreaker. I’d happily go back 🙂

Fantastic Cod and chips, only £11 which is the best value I've found in weymouth. Light and crispy batter, not overly greasy and the chips were to die for. Had it with curry sauce, cheese and a gherkin for my birthday treat, what a combo, will definatly coming back! Also the handsome black-bearded man behind the counter was a great laugh and service impeccable, 5 stars all day long

Its obvious the reviewers are reviewing negatively for the amazing responses from the owner.
On the occasion I have eaten the fish n chips here (not ice cream) it was a substantial size and the batter was tightless. The chips were potatoes and the cheery young lad that served was an absolute delight.

Just eaten here, and I have to say probably the best fish chips and curry sauce I’ve ever had, beautiful flaky fish in a golden crispy batter, the chips were cooked to perfection, and the curry sauce is on another planet, fantastic staff and right on the seafront! What more could you want, thanks again! Will definitely be back! 😁
